Blackline Safety opens offices in Germany and UAE to boost regional operations

Blackline Safety Corp., a Canadian provider of connected safety technology, has announced the opening of two new offices in Cologne, Germany, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The expansion supports its operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), bringing services closer to industrial and energy clients.

The Cologne office builds on Blackline’s existing network in the U.K. and France, providing localised support for sales, service, and customer engagement across Europe and Africa. The Abu Dhabi facility strengthens engagement with clients in the energy, utilities, and petrochemical sectors, offering training, support, and service aligned with regional operational needs. The expansion follows a multi-year purchase agreement with ADNOC and reflects continued growth in Middle Eastern markets.

The move coincides with Blackline Safety’s 10th consecutive year at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi and its participation at A+A 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany — major global trade events for safety and energy professionals.

The company will showcase updates to its cloud-based safety platform, including ZoneAware Geofencing, an upgraded Loner Mobile app, enhanced gas sensor visibility, and new bulk management automation tools. These features improve situational awareness, streamline program management, reinforce compliance, and extend protection to more workers across operations.

Blackline Safety leverages wearable devices, personal and area gas monitoring, cloud-connected software, and predictive analytics to help organisations reduce workplace incidents and optimise operational performance. Its IoT-enabled solutions generate actionable data, with over 300 billion data points collected and more than eight million emergency alerts initiated globally. Cellular and satellite connectivity ensures coverage in remote or high-risk environments.

CEO Cody Slater said the expansion strengthens Blackline’s regional presence, service capabilities, and partnerships with enterprise clients, underlining the company’s commitment to operational safety and workforce protection.
